Handwriting Training

 Handwriting Training for Teaching Staff

Spring  2019   Training Courses

Do you have children who struggle with handwriting?

Are you unsure of the best way to support them?

Would you like to improve handwriting across your school?

Helping a child with poor handwriting doesn't begin with looking at their pencil grip but requires a much more in depth assessment. Come along to one of our handwriting training workshops and learn how to start children handwriting correctly to prevent problems occurring and how to troubleshoot when problems arise.

For children learning to write or trying to overcome a handwriting difficulty, it’s important both home and school are “Singing from the same song sheet.” So our Saturday session will also include strategies parents can do at home. Enclosed is a separate flyer which schools are welcome to copy and distribute to parents.

What people have said about our previous training sessions:-

“ I just wanted to thank you for the amazing talk last night it was so informative and delivered in such a lovely manner ….”

Teacher, Hereford & Worcester Dyslexia Assoc. Jan 2019

  • Letter formation and joining
  • Resources, what to use and when
